Why do my Game Object references keep getting set to "None" when I exit and restart Unity?

Just bought Bolt. I am making Flow State Super Units to print out some info for character stats. I reference several text boxes and print out the values in them. When I exit Unity and restart the references are gone.

To make the references I drag the object from the Hierarchy into a flow state diagram. Not sure what other info is needed.

unity and bolt version?

2018.2.2f1 Personal and whatever version of Bolt was on the asset store three days ago. Not sure where to look for that.

actually it's fixed in last version, now You can drag only self object, others are deny

Solution

add references via Variables window, then in graph just get it

Thank you. Will try that.

That is indeed the right answer, there was a bug in previous versions where you could drag scene references in macros, which isn't supported by Unity.
