Is there a way to prevent Bolt from re-compiling with every scene or script change?

As in Header, I find that every time I make certain changes in a scene, especially script changes, Bolt does various thing and has spinning progress indicators, etc.  It doesn't take too long but it gets old after a while if you aren't doing anything Bolt related.  It adds a lot of time in the long run.

Can't I check some box to have this only happen when I click in one of the Bolt windows, rather than after every change?

.NET Version (API Compatibility Level):

So, I kind of answered my own question.  It seems that this is related to having any of the three Bolt windows open.  I set up 2 layouts, one with Bolt windows and one without, but otherwise identical.  And now when I am not doing Bolt related stuff I don't have to have the update/recompile slows on every change.

It would still be nice to have a setting to enable/disable "Update only when Bolt windows are focused".

If you are diligent in knowing when to update, you can turn off "Update Units Automatically" in the Bolt editor options.  It will then revert to the old behavior of requiring a manual update before new units are available.

Not quite what you were asking for, I know, but it might meet your needs.

I'll look for that.  Thanks.
