Spikes/Death event not loading

The spikes and death part of the platformer tutorial isn't working for me either. I'm using unity 2018.1.0f2 and regular Bolt download from Asset store. No beta version that I'm aware of. I get zero errors.(edited)

The objective/load level collision works for me though.

Hi there!

The problem I see here is that you're triggering the custom event on the object that collided (the player), but you're listening for it on the spikes object itself. You can either unlink your connection between On Collision Enter 2D and Trigger, or move the part of the graph that reloads the scene to the player object; either will work!
