how to set local time for state

I was using time to drive an animation curve that controls a lerp between two colors.

The issues is that I can't seem to find a time node that starts at 0 when the state is entered. Surely this is possible?

I solved this by creating a variable to grab the start on run and subtract it from the current which gives me the result. kind of a work around.


This is actually the proper way to do it. Just make that bad boy into a macro, then you can easily do this over and over.


In 1.4 this will become very easy: just use a Timer unit and start it On Enter State. :)
