Thanks for reporting this. It's a Unity bug (the width of text changes depending on a zoom factor because the underlying font seems to change), but I haven't been able to find a workaround yet. I believe other VS tools handle it properly though, so maybe there's a way. I'll do some research.
Implemented a hacky hotfix that adds 20% width to label sizes when zoomed out. It's not ideal, but it seems to fix the issue in most cases.
I'm having the same clipping issue when zooming from 0,95x to 1x. Is there a way to clamp the zoom to 0,95 instead? Not a big deal though, since other stages are fine.
Unfortunately there's no "magic number" that would work on all DPIs.
I forgot to update this old thread, but Unity confirmed the issue has reappeared in recent versions and is actively working on a fix. See the known issues page here for the bug tracking: https://ludiq.io/bolt/known-issues#calcsize
So I'm happy to announce this will be finally fixed in Bolt 1.4.3.
After lots of attempts, I went the nuclear way and decided to disable word wrapping on unit header text in general. This fixes the issue, but will make some rare units with very long titles (e.g. On Application Lost Focus) wider. It feels like a small tradeoff for fixing a core display issue that Unity doesn't seem keen on addressing.
