Watching values of ports at runtime

Daniel Dahl 3 years ago updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 3 years ago 4

Hey there, sorry if this has been suggested somewhere already but I couldn’t find it with a quick search. I would like to be able to mouse over a port on a graph at runtime and have a pop-up box tell me what it’s current value is. At the moment I have to add a bunch of Debug.Log nodes to retrieve the information I want.

I think this would be a good one to include with breakpoints in 1.6.

Cheers!

If you click the values button at the top right of the graph window you can see all values as they pass through. No mouse over needed, shows it on the connected wire.

I'll take a look when I get home tonight. Hopefully that'll work, if not I'll post up an example of what I'm thinking.

I think this will work fine. Thanks for pointing that out!
