Where did it go - keep losing my Favorites

Wayne Hawkins 3 years ago updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 3 years ago 2

Hi. Favorites are nice and one spends a but of time setting them up. Its sad when I lose them all. To be far, I did use a beta version of Bolt or rolled back to a early version.

But moving forward... (I put my Network Manager hat on now). I need to understand more on how this works. How I back them up and restore if things go south on me. I use Shadow Protected so my computer gets a snap shot of the hard drives so a way to restore at a file level would be ideal

What would be cool is a way to backup and restore in your Admin menu so its easy for non technical people.

Many thanks,

GOOD, I'M SATISFIED

Putting the file Bolt.Flow.ProjectSettings.asset into a new Unity3D project did the job. Thank you for getting back to me on the anwser.

I'm not sure under what conditions they get blown away, but they get stored in the Assets/Plugins/Bolt.Flow/Bolt.Flow.ProjectSettings.asset file.

Hi Wayne, welcome to the community!

I'm sorry you lost your favorites by rolling back a version. Something probably went wrong with the file Reality.Stop() mentioned along the way. You can either backup this file individually, or use Tools > Ludiq > Backup Project... to create a full zip backup of your assets folder if you don't use source control (but I'd recommend using source control in every project!).
