Multi-Unity setup results in error

Tomasz Juszczak 4 months ago updated 4 months ago 0

Multi-Unity setup (eg for testing networking) throws multiple exceptions.

How to set up the projects:
1. Create any project with Peak
2. Create a second project (you can copy-paste the old one)
3. Remove Assets folder, and create a symlink to the "main" project Assets folder.
4. Open both projects at the same time

Error:
If Peek will not be initialized (Welcome window would like to be shown) on one of the instances it would work (it would reappear all the time), on the other one exception will be thrown:

```
[13:33:44:941] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Ludiq.PeekCore.Wizard.Update () (at Assets/Ludiq/Ludiq.PeekCore/Editor/Windows/Wizard.cs:91)
UnityEditor.HostView.SendUpdate () (at <3081d2bcbc4348779c37880b87cdb6a1>:0)
UnityEditor.EditorApplication.Internal_CallUpdateFunctions () (at <3081d2bcbc4348779c37880b87cdb6a1>:0)
```

This issue is fixed, by restarting the faulty instance of Unity

Unity Version:
202.3.7f1
Peek Version:
