Changes in Super Unit Inputs/Outputs not reflected

Daniel 7 months ago updated by Ex-Crow 6 months ago 3

Hi,

Maybe I'm missing something but every time I change something in a SuperUnit and then go back to my main level, the changes to my INPUTS / OUTPUTS are not reflected in the node. It still shows what I had before. I have to drag it again to see the new changes. Do I need to press save or something somewhere? I'm dragging a macro from my project that I intend to reuse everywhere.

Bolt Version:
1.4.11
Unity Version:
2019.2.0f1
Platform(s):
Windows 10
Scripting Backend:
Mono
.NET Version (API Compatibility Level):
.NET 4.x

I'm not sure why but after hitting Play, it started to update properly.

Hi Daniel,

I'm sorry about the issue and thank you for the bug report.

That does sound like a bug, indeed. Updates should be instant. Entering play mode probably fixes it because it forces a hard-reload of everything in Bolt due to C# domain reload.

Can you be more specific about the reproduction steps? Does this happen for every macro/super unit or just any specific macro? Do you get any warning or error in the console?

Hi Lazlo,

Thank you for your quick reply!

I'm really not sure how to reproduce this issue, I have only seen once and when I went to play mode it fixed it and I never saw it again. I never got any error in the console from what I remember. I think we can confidently set this one issue status to "Can't reproduce". If I ever see this again I'll re-open the case.

Cheers,
