Cannot Reproduce

"No inspector" for custom type and errors

Oneiros 4 months ago updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 6 days ago 3

Hello! I was trying to use a custom type in State Machine Variables but it says "No inspector for..."

My class has a custom PropertyDrawer but it doesn't work in Bolt.

Should the class derive from something in particular?

I also tried to click on "Generate Custom Inspectors" but I get this weird error

What should I do?

Bolt Version:
1.4.9
Unity Version:
2019.3.0f1
Platform(s):
Windows 10
Scripting Backend:
IL2CPP
.NET Version (API Compatibility Level):
.NET 4.x
Need More Information

Hi Oneiros,

Sorry you're experiencing this issue.

Generating custom inspectors is indeed what you need to do to show your custom drawer implementation.

When that error dialog is shown, Bolt also logs the full exception to the console.

Can you please paste or upload the full log so we can have a look?

Hi Oneiros, any update on this?

Cannot Reproduce

Hi Oneiros,

I'm closing this as Cannot Reproduce seeing there was no activity for the last two months.

I'm assuming generation somehow succeeded or that you found the right attributes to use.

Please feel free to comment if this issue occurs again or if you have more details.
