Does anyone use NatCam?

This was the first asset I wanted to use with Bolt as I use it at the moment with Playmaker.

I was struggling at first but then realized how you use 3rd party scripts in Bolt. I am still on the basics of everything but I like what I see. With Playmaker I can drag and drop from the inspector components from scripts I have added to the object to PlayMaker and I can then get or set properties.

Being able to drag and drop components to Bolt like Playmaker does to the Bolt graph would be Awesome.

So I was thinking of making a video showing this in Playmaker and at least trying to show this in Bolt. It is not that Bolt can’t do it, it is that I am still crawling on the floor with bolt. With PlayMaker it took me loads of time to understand too, so Bolt is also a learning process.

I have even started a c# course now as Bolt is pushing me to want to know more.

With Bolt, I really like that I can grab any script on my GameObject and use it in a flow or state, without confusing drop down lists like in PlayMaker.

So with Bolt I will persevere but I have to stay with PlayMaker to get my project finished at first. I will however start converting my project to Bolt as soon as I know the ropes.

Somehow I cannot edit my post anymore, so this sentence should be changed.

Being able to drag and drop components to Bolt like Playmaker does to the Bolt graph would be Awesome.

Being able to drag and drop components to Bolt like Playmaker does to it's state machine would be Awesome.

I am hoping he will an can implement that option as well as it was very handy when using BP in Unreal. I do believe he will be doing that for variables, drop one in and it will convert to a a getter/Setter node/unit.

As for editing your post, if on a browser on a Pc, it will only show that option in the left hand side pictured below when you try to edit your original post. Replies editing is done right below you reply. I also think that there is a time limit to edit, not sure though.

Just found the post again, http://support.ludiq.io/topics/203-variable-drag-drop/. He does have drag and drop for variables planned as I thought.

Thanks, found the edit again. And yes drag & drop to graph would be really cool.
