Bolt 2.0.0a4 - Unexpected Fuzzy Finder results when searching for "Dictionary"

TowerCrow 3 months ago • updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 2 months ago 5

I have to scroll down a bit to get to the actual dictionary I want.

Bolt Version:
2.0.0a4
Unity Version:
2018.3.11f1
.NET Version:
4
Bolt 2
Working on Fix

Hm odd, I'll have a look. Should definitely come up earlier!

In fact I should probably exclude Bolt-internal types like DictionaryAsset altogether, also.

That would be great! There are Bolt internal types popping up for search keyword "list" when adding variables in the variable window too.

There's a bunch of stuff that comes up in the fuzzy finder from Ludiq folder right now.

Cannot Reproduce

I can't reproduce this, are you sure Dictionary<TKey, TValue> is in your type options?

Try resetting the default type options and re-extracting.

I'm still having the same issue. And Dictionary<TKey, TValue> is in type options. Resetting and re-extracting also don't solve it.

Here're the precise steps on how I get to this issue:
1. Create fresh Unity project
2. Import Bolt 2a4
3. Restart Unity
4. Run setup, in extract step, do full extract
5. Search for dictionary in Fuzzy finder

Got it, I was using Human Naming, hence why I couldn't repro.

Will be fixed for Alpha 5, where the Ludiq internal types are now excluded from extraction.
