Issues with the official written tutorial

  1. With Bolt 1.4 EnemyChangeMind macro is not working as intended. This guy explains it in more detail and with a handy GIF: https://support.ludiq.io/knowledge-bases/40/articles/427-8-enemies-ai#comment-7042 Unfortunately, his proposed fix didn't work for me.
  2. I believe the second start state should be "Damage", not "Chase".

  1. A suggestion in Discord was to switch to Late Update Event for enemy's ground check which somewhat improved the situation. The issue still persists though, enemy changes mind too often due to coroutines firing off asynchronously. I've seen it changing direction after taking half a step up to 4 - 5 times in a row. The behavior is too erratic and looks glitchy which is why I'm trying to understand what is the best solution to this problem. 

Cooldown node instead of Wait for Seconds fixed the issue. It's now close to what I had pre 1.4.

Thanks for the report. I fixed the Chase>Damage typo.

Re: the coroutines bug, it's probably related to how coroutines changed in v.1.4. I'll have to test it myself soon and come up with an alternative solution to update the tutorial. I'll also take the occasion to publish a complete package of the tutorial on the Learn hub alongside our other example projects!
