Replace Statemachines/fllowmachines with another?

Is there a way to replace a flowgraph/statemachine in a statemachine? Its a serious pain the remove a state machine and redo all the transitions. Lets say I duplicate an enemy and want to replace the "SimpleChase" with "AdvancedChase" and keep the transitions.

Yes, you can either:

  • Use the graph inspector to display the Macro field when the state is selected, and change that from there
  • Drag & drop a macro asset directly over the state to replace it
