Creating a camera for a mini golf game with multiple modes

I am very new to unity and bolt. I am looking for some guidance or advice on creating a main camera that follows behind a rigidbody(ball) after a relative force is applied. I want the camera to have a default distance from the ball and only move along the z axis following the ball after it has been hit. I also want the camera to rotate around the ball using the mouse axis, and the scroll wheel to zoom. I also want a secondary camera that shows an overview of the course from a birds eye view when a certain button is pressed. Any tips or ideas would be super helpful.
