Game object missing from fuzzy finder drag & drop

Guy Rabiller 3 years ago updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 2 years ago 4

Not really a bug but rather a regression (perhaps "Regression" should be added to the popup list  of types of post).

A little thing very annoying appeared (or rather disappeared) in v1.3.0:

When you drag & drop a Game Object from your Hierarchy into a Flow Graph, the Fuzzy Explorer appears but does not list the Game Object itself and its methods. Only its components.

Very annoying as you have to go search a generic Game Object from a fresh Fuzzy Explorer, choose the method then drag and drop the Game Object into the Target Object of the node.

Thanks for the report! This is a regression indeed. Will fix for 1.4.

  • Creating a literal instantly for any dragged UnityEngine.Object
  • Dragging in a script file lets you access its methods and properties! :)
