Grouping objects change their order

mcarriere 1 month ago updated by Lazlo Bonin (Lead Developer) 1 month ago 4

When I group a series of objects, their order in the hierarchy changes.

I expect them to stay in the same order that they previously existed in the scene hierarchy, but just under the new grouped parent.

Working on Fix

Hi mcarriere,

Thanks for the report and sorry you're experiencing this issue. It should be a fairly straightforward fix for a future version, I'll make sure it lands sooner rather than later.

Fixed (Unreleased)

Hi mcarriere,

This will be fixed in the next version.

Additionally, I've made it so that local groups get created in the position in the hierarchy of their first element, rather than at the bottom.

For example:

Awesome, thank you so much!
