Selecting objects performance hit

Hi,

Just bought PEEK after liking Bolt. So the first thing I do is I select a couple of cylinders and I get a performance hit on the UI... I tried to remove the icons in the hierarchy but the same thing happens. Is that what everybody is experiencing when selecting objects? My scene is really small and there was absolutely no lag without PEEK.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry about the issue and thanks for the report.

We extensively tested the performance and you should not see any form of lag.

Could you please:

  1. Open the Unity Profiler
  2. Enable "Profile Editor"
  3. Enable "Deep Profile"
  4. Switch to "Hierarchy" view
  5. Do the operation that is laggy, and observe if you see a spike
  6. If so, please post the screenshot of the deepest you can go in the hierarchy that has something to do with Ludiq or Peek

Thank you for your quick reply!

I'm now on Unity 2019.3.13f and I don't see the issue anymore. It's fast now.

So we can consider this thread resolved as far as I'm concern.
