ChronosException: Missing parent clock: 'Root'.Chronos.Clock.OnEnable () (at Assets/Chronos/Source/Clock.cs:42)
Unity v5.5.2f1 - Windows 10 (x64)
I just purchased Chronos and am very excited to use it.
I imported the 2D Platformer and Chronos asset packages into a new 2D project.
I went through the tutorial (as this issue didn't actually affect the lone GlobalClock timeScale modification therein), but immediately had the above exception when attempting to set the "Enemies" GlobalClock parent to "Root".
Experimenting I found that this happens any time I set any Clock descendant component's parent property to anything other than None. I've tried adding them via Component > Time as well as the Add Component button.
The only way I got around this was to open the Chronos example scene and turn its Timekeeper into a prefab. I then went back to my tutorial scene, added it, and removed the extra GlobalClocks.
Adding any GlobalClocks myself will then cause the exception once again, but only on those added by me.
I hope this is an issue with my newest version of Unity and will be fixed soon.
