In game time

Hi there, I am working on a simulation type game where Chronos would be very useful, but I was wondering. Is it possible to use Chronos to create a custom in game date system ? For example, say that an in game day is actually 60 real seconds. Would I be able to use Chronos to capture that time along with forwarding/rewinding etc ?
